Ya know I was actually just talking about that very issue. I have never cooked vegan, however have been very curious to see what recipes I could make into vegan dishes. Hopefully I will have some soon 🙂
I have come into the possession of lobster tails and would love any tips or recipes you have to offer.
I LOVE lobster…however I don’t buy it very often. So when I do, I really want to taste JUST the lobster and not hide it in a lot of other ingredients. If I had them more often, I of course would do risottos and bisques 🙂 Here’s my favorite way to prepare the tails….(for 2 tails)
Preheat your broiler with rack in the middle of the oven.
Place the tails on a cutting board with the curved portion facing up. With kitchen shears, cut under the shell down the right side towards the tail and repeat on the left side. Cut across the bottom to remove the large portion of shell by gently pulling back. Remove the intestinal track.
Mix together 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning, and just a touch of white pepper. Drizzle the mixture over the exposed tail meat and place the tails on a baking sheet and place in oven.
Broil for 5-10 minutes, depending on the size of your tails. The meat should be slightly browned and opaque. Serve with lemon wedges!
And NOW I’m craving LOBSTER!!!
